Stay in: Wayward Pines (Fox, City, 9 p.m.) When Season 1 of this story about a town that no one ever leaves went hard-core sci-fi, I was sad to lose the supernatural spookiness, but there are still some decent chills. Speaking of which, Nurse Pam (Melissa Leo) is back, and we all know that’s bad news. Meanwhile, we learn a bit more about how young Jason (Tom Stevens) rose to the leadership of the First Generation, and newcomer Dr. Theo (Jason Patric) wants to know why he was chosen. Go out: Alter the usual 5-à-7 plans ever so slightly and head over to Palais des congrès (201 Viger Street W.) for day one of the Mondial de la Bière. In addition to hundreds of beers from here and abroad, there’s food and workshops.
